backtracking - Mount Royal

A few slightly older photos from my very first (official) walk up the mountain... even though I've been living in Montreal for 5 years now!

Went up with Sheida on an abnormally (and pleasantly) warm day (21 Oct) and took a few shots. Also met a girl named Lindsay who I'm sure was in my psych 101 class back in 2002.. she took a few photos of Sheida and I for us.

Didn't really take the time to take any artistic shots as we were in a bit of a rush, but I still want to document this day in my blog! :)

The leaves were a lovely colour... just about to fall.

I know there's a massive shadow across Sheida's face, but I still like it despite its flaws and Steve agrees there's something interesting about it.
I tried a slightly more retro effect than usual to accentuate the warm colours.
This is a really spontaneous photo. I saw how cool her hair was, blowing in the wind, called her name.. she turned around and voila!

A few more of Sheida.

Handed my camera over to Sheida for her debut as a photographer ;)
(I did the post processing)

Me looking geeky in my hat...

Decided to remove it and brave the hat head hair!

Trying to make it better with glasses AND hat off.

Photo of us that Lindsay, the girl we met, took. (post processing by me)

Will hopefully soon post the more artistic photos I took the next weekend when Steve and I went up the mountain.
